Jarrow School was rebuilt as part of the South Tyneside and Gateshead (STaG) BSF programme. The buildings design incorporates 5 wings with individual teaching spaces all clustered around a large central resource space. British Thornton manufactured and installed all the fitted furniture requirements and provided the associated equipment for this modern school specialising in engineering. British Thornton engaged with the client to ensure they understood and met the needs of the colleges specialism and other specialist spaces within the FF&E provision.
