St John's Catholic Comprehensive School is located in Gravesend, Kent, with 1100 pupils including 200 in the Sixth Form. The new build scheme opened its doors in September 2010 following its completion under the Kent Building schools for the future programme. The new school building provides a modern and fresh environment for learning with large open learning plaza's and extensive group spaces. As furniture and equipment (F&E) providers for the scheme British Thornton were challenged with providing modern solutions for the new and innovative spaces to ensuring the clients needs were met.
