North Lanarkshire Schools & Centres 21

The North Lanarkshire Council Schools and Centres 21 project is one of the largest educational facilities upgrades in the UK. The project was named Schools and Centres 21 to reflect the role of North Lanarkshire's schools as community hubs.

 3 Contractors were selected onto a partnering framework over 4 years for the construction of the new facilities;

  • Morgan Sindall
  • Balfour Beatty
  • Graham Construction

British Thornton partnered the framework contractors as the F&E provider within the scheme, working as an active member of the design team on each project. The business undertook the client engagement for the F&E scope within all the projects as well as the planning, project management, manufacture, supply, delivery and installation. Providing a full furniture and equipment package totalling in excess of £7m across all schemes.

  • Calderbridge Primary School
