2005 saw a significant step-change in our continued expansion with the move to a brand new headquarters and manufacturing complex. Representing a £3M investment, the 4.7 acre site located in the Yorkshire Dales town of Keighley, hosts a modern manufacturing unit with 110,000 sq ft of usable space and separate office accommodation.

State of the art machinery is now fully operational within the unit and the buildings incorporate efficient and environmental friendly features not least of which is the provision of heating via a wood-burning boiler fed by waste products and wood shavings from the factory - benefiting both the company and the environment!

This move was driven by market demand for British Thornton products over several years of sustained and profitable growth and - as 90% of our product range is designed and manufactured on our own premises - the additional space this new facility affords will have a beneficial effect on increased productivity, efficiency and quality for both us and more importantly, our customers.
