Flow Process Analysis

Between March and July this year a group of thirteen from across all departments at British Thornton undertook an NVQ module in Flow Process Analysis, via Track Training Ltd.

All candidates had to identify work flow through their own department, either physical movement of material or information flow, with the aim of improving how things are processed through the business on a day to day basis.  During the course there was a period of analysis to identify what happens in each person’s role, then each candidate identified where and how improvements could be made, taking into consideration the timescales and costs involved.

The final assessment involved the candidates presenting to the tutor their individual flow processes and collating the evidence gathered in the coursework.
